TopShot Lure

The TopShot is a subsurface casting lure built for surface feeding bluefin tuna. At 70 grams, it loads a casting rod for long bombs to busting schools, then swims slightly below the surface and walks side to side on the retrieve with an erratic, wounded baitfish action that triggers explosive strikes when tuna are finicky and line-shy. Tested in the bluefin grounds off SoCal, the TopShot comes in two proven California baitfish colors (sardine and anchovy) to match the bait tuna are keyed on. It's rigged and ready out of the box with Mustad 5x 1/0 treble hooks and a 250lb thru-wire that runs eye-to-hooks – capable of handling 100lb tuna with ease.
